Sitting on the sidelines is not an option

Over the weekend you may have heard President Clinton came to my home in McLean to help the Virginia Senate Democratic Caucus. We raised over $1 million at the event. Senate Majority Leader Dick Saslaw stated that it was the "largest amount ever raised at one event for the General Assembly." We couldn't have done it without your support.

It was historic, but we can not rest on our laurels. Late last week, we learned that national GOP groups gave more than $800,000 to Tea Party extremists running here in the Commonwealth. Can you go online and give whatever you can today? We must do everything we can to keep the majority in the Virginia Senate.

Go online now and contribute. With the Governor's mansion and the House of Delegates already controlled by Republicans, the future of Virginia is at stake. The Tea Party agenda will cost us jobs and funding for core services like public safety and education.

Sitting on the sidelines this year is not an option. Please help today.
